QueueBuddy is built for students. We collect the minimum needed to make wait-time reports useful and to keep the app working.

What we collect

• Account info. If you sign in, we store your email and a unique user ID.
• School pin. The school you choose during onboarding.
• Wait reports. The place, the wait time, and the timestamp. Reports are not tied to your public identity.
• Location. Only while the app is open, only to show places near you. Not stored on our servers.
• Notification token. If you opt in to notifications, we store your device's push token so we can send alerts.
• Diagnostics. Firebase Crashlytics and Analytics for stability and basic usage stats.

What we don't do

• We don't sell your data.
• We don't show ads.
• We don't track you across other apps or websites.

Third parties

QueueBuddy uses Firebase (Google) for authentication, data storage, push notifications, and crash reporting. Their privacy policy applies to data processed by their services.

Your choices

• Turn off notifications in iOS Settings at any time.
• Delete your account from inside the app; we'll remove your profile and tokens.
• Use the data request & deletion form to download a copy of your account data or request full account deletion.

Request a copy of your data, or delete it

Open the QueueBuddy data form, sign in with the same email and password you use in the app, and pick one:

• Download my data — we'll email you a JSON copy of your profile, comments, school submissions, and appeal history within 7 days. Wait reports are anonymous (stored under a device identifier, not your account) so they aren't part of the export.
• Delete my account data — we'll permanently remove your profile and authored content (comments, appeals, submissions) within 2–3 weeks and email you a confirmation when it's done. This is irreversible.
